The Standerton Advertiser published an article after a police officer from Charl Cilliers exploited a disabled parking for almost 30 minutes.

The officer in question was spotted at the Junxion Centre on 3 January and after the article was published  a debate ensued on Facebook.

The station commander, Capt Abel Mahlangu, was contacted who said it was unacceptable and that he would investigate the matter.

According to Brig Leonard Hlathi, provincial spokesman of the police and head of corporate communication, all police members must adhere to the traffic act.
