Community members of Ward 9, 12 and 13 had the opportunity to raise their concerns and interact directly with the Executive Mayor, Mr Linda Dhlamini, during a Mayoral Izimbizo on 21 January.
Alongside the Executive Mayor were Ms B Skhonde who was acting Executive Mayor for the Gert Sibande District Municipality, Ms VT Malinga and Ms B Mollo, both Members of the Mayoral Committee, Ms HM Khota, Speaker of Council and Ms GP Mhlongo-Ntshangase, Municipal Manager.

Sewing machines, food warmers and brick-making machines were handed over to the community of these wards to help cooperatives with their businesses.
