Three people aged 24, 25 and 37 were arrested on Thursday, 1 February after they were caught allegedly withdrawing money at ATMs with various pension and social grant cards from Sassa.
The cards belonged to people from Lebohang.
Police believed the three suspects to be loan sharks in the Lebohang area and about R47 768 was found in their possession.
They are expected to appear in Evander Magistrate’s Court soon.
