Two car guards at the China Mall in Secunda found a Bassett and a Jack Russell cross tied to a chain this morning at the taxi rank in the CBD.
They spoke with the man who chained the dogs and managed to get the Jack Russell safely in the care of the Highveld Ridge SPCA.However, the Bassett is now missing.
Ms Jenneth Geel, senior inspector at the Highveld Ridge SPCA, urged the owner of the Jack Russell and possibly the Bassett, to contact the SPCA at 017 632 2654.
She suspects both dogs were stolen from their homes in Secunda.
