NEWS FLASH: Ambulance services declares injured man on sidewalk in Standerton dead

According to the family, he had a remote and cash with him that are missing.

An injured Mr Dollie Smit (67) was presumably on his way to his house when Kasselman Security Services (KSS) found him on the sidewalk on 21 May.

Mr Smit later succumbed to his head injuries and was declared dead on the scene.

A reaction officer of KSS, Mr Chris Hare, stopped to see if he could help him.

According to the family, he had a remote and cash with him that are missing.

According to Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, spokesman of the Standerton Police, an inquest was opened.
