EFF logs complaint at Standerton Hospital about a patient discharged with wound

According to her daughter, Ms Nompumelelo Myinga, there was a wound on her mother’s arm when the nursing staff removed the drip.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) logged a complaint at the Standerton Hospital on 22 May about Ms Linnah Myinga.

Ms Myinga, a diabetic,  was admitted to hospital in early April for them to attend to a wound on the leg.

She was discharged on 26 April with a sore to the arm because of a drip used.

According to her daughter, Ms Nompumelelo Myinga, there was a wound on her mother’s arm when the nursing staff removed the drip.

The condition of the wound worsened and a doctor assessed it on 22 May.
