KINROSS – A farm worker discovered the decomposed body of a man in the field that he was ploughing this afternoon, 25 May.
According to Mr Andries Lee from Delta 1 Rescue Diving who was initially called out to what he thought was a drowning scene, the body was found on a farm that is situated near the water reservoirs on the route to Delmas.
“It was in the veld only a few meters from the road main road.”
Mr Lee said that judging from the remains, it appears the person was murdered.
The body was in a fetal position with his legs tied to his upper body and around the neck.
It appeared that something such as a plastic bag covered the head at some stage.
The Kinross Police is investigating.
