The Running Hearts Foundation’s first annual 50 Blankets for Winter event was a success

eMBALENHLE – The Running Hearts Foundation held their first annual 50 Blankets for Winter event on 26 May at eMbalenhle Mall.

The aim was to collect 50 blankets for the less-privileged for the winter.

An event was held outside the parking lot at eMbalenhle Mall to attract people to contribute towards the initiative.

They collected 64 blankets.

Mr Bongile Sixhanti, founder of Running Hearts, said: “Allow me to take the time to thank everyone who supported us during our first annual 50 blankets for winter charity event.

“Thanks to the community and all our sponsors, donors and artists.

“We are very grateful for the support.”
