Eskom employees opened a case of negligence against the provincial police after two people were critically injured in a protest on 13 June.
The shooting began when the protesters tried to prevent a vehicle from entering the Tutuka premises.
The police then fired rubber bullets and injured 14 people.
Altogether 12 were discharged from the Standerton Hospital, while the other two were rushed to Trichardt Medi-Clinic.
Tutuka employees embarked on a nationwide strike over salary demands, demanding 15% across the board.
It is alleged that a catering company arrived to deliver food to employees working inside the power station.
