A student from Joubertsvallei in Thuthukani is one of five benefactors of a Seriti New Denmark Colliery scholarship programme.

Ms Lindokuhle Mbokani (17), a former Zikhetheleni Secondary School learner, achieved four distinctions in her matric results last year.

Ms Mbokani is currently studying towards her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science at the University of Johannesburg.

“We are not involved in these projects as a concession, but do it because it’s the right thing to do,” General Manager, Mr Moses Ramokhotoane, said.
