EVANDER – The body of an unknown man was found in a veld near Winkelhaak Mine today, 22 June.
Police received information in the morning and on arrival found the body with several gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Srgt Sibusiso Mbuli, the police spokesman, said it looked as though the body was in water for more than 24 hours before it was dumped in the veld.
“The body also showed signs of assault.
“No one has been arrested.”
