A contractor offered a Sakhile woman, who was allegedly robbed of her rightful RDP house, another house on 29 November.
Ms Maktseng Motloung’s application for a RDP house in Ext 8 was recently approved, but to her surprise she discovered the house was already occupied.
Mr Brian Owen, Trans Gariep Infra (TGI), the contractors on site, was touched by her story and promised to move her to a new house on 6 December.
“She can no longer move into the previous house as it has been allocated to another resident,” Mr Owen said.
