TYT hosts Christmas party for children of Wesselton at the AJ Swanepoel Stadium

The children were treated to fun games including jumping castles and other activities

The Township Youth Transformation (TYT), working with various stakeholders, hosted a Christmas party for vulnerable children of Wesselton at the AJ Swanepoel Stadium recently.

The children were treated to fun games, including jumping castles and other activities.

TYT is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 2014 when three young men visited the township schools to assist students in preparing for their exams.

Realising the different educational needs, they took it upon themselves to motivate the youth to stay in school, hone their talents, skills and gave them the tools to execute their goals.

Their main objectives are to encourage the youth to be passionate about education.

The organisation hosts various programmes throughout the year, namely a career expo to showcase the different kinds of opportunities awaiting the youth.
