Goldi helps with restoring water supply to Standerton

The company furthermore ferried water directly to the hospital and water reservoir in Kosmospark.

Goldi Office issued a press release on 5 April, informing the community of their involvement in restoring water supply to Standerton.

According to their statement, they sourced, supplied and installed a backwash pump at their own expense and helped the Lekwa Muncipality to trace leakages and inefficient ringfeeds that might have been responsible for the low pressure.

They said contractors were arranged to repair significant leaks identified on the municipal supply lines, as well as arranged water tankers to ferry water to its production facility to relieve the pressure on the water supply system.

The company furthermore ferried water directly to the hospital and water reservoir in Kosmospark.

Goldi also voluntarily reduced production shifts to allow the Concor Reservoir to build up reserves.

They indicated that water flow had been controlled by the municipality, putting misunderstandings at rest about their role in the lack of water in some wards.
