Cattle to be put down after accident between Bethal and Trichardt

Ms Laurna Coetzer, manager and inspector of Bethal SPCA said: “We will make sure that the cattle that were injured will be put down.”

BETHAL – A farmer was transporting cattle when his trailer came loose and ended up in the veld at Piekspruit between Bethal and Trichardt this morning, 23 June.

One bull died on the scene and two others were injured.

Ms Laurna Coetzer, manager and inspector of Bethal SPCA said: “We will make sure that the cattle that were injured will be put down.”

GTR-Towing recovered the trailer.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident and no one was injured.
