Govan Mbeki Municipality begins with water and electricity meter audits

Residents are requested to assist with the meter auditing process

SECUNDA – The Govan Mbeki Municipality will kick start the water and electricity meter audits throughout the municipality from Monday, 15 July.

The project will be completed at the end of October and is aimed at rectifying billing system errors, as well as identifying those meters that require replacement or repair.

The workers will work from 8am till 4pm and residents are requested to let into their homes.

They will be wearing reflective jackets with Govan Mbeki Municipality’s name and logo printed on the back and they will be in possession of identification cards.

The cards will have their names, surnames and identity numbers and must be presented to you on request.
