No power in certain areas of Secunda during upgrades

SECUNDA – Residents in certain areas of Secunda should brace themselves for long periods with electricity as from tomorrow, 14 November.
The Govan Mbeki Municipality’s electrical team is planning to upgrade and repair ring-feed sub-stions 4 and 5 as from Thursday, 14 November to Sunday, 17 November.
This maintenance work needs to be done to prevent major power outages in future.

“The team said they will try and redirect power to ensure the least interuptions, but I believe it is best to warn residents in advance to be prepared.”
