SECUNDA – The green strip between Hodgson Street and Stow Street looks like a dumping site.
From school books to other items can be found amongst the rubbish in this green strip.
Residents have been reporting this problem of illegal dumping to Govan Mbeki Municipality numerous times to no avail.
Ms Mariaan Chamberlain, DA councillor, said she also reported it to the municipality several times.
The Ridge Times asked three people from the communications department of Govan Mbeki Municipality for comment, but they did not reply at the time of going to print.
The Ridge Times sent e-mails to Messrs Benzi Soko, Donald Green and Lucky Mhlongo and WhatsApp messages to Mr Soko which he did read, but never replied.
