The communications department of the Lekwa Municipality issued a notice about a 450mm pipe burst on a main line near the Waterfront.
The line supplies water to Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11 and 15. The supply to these wards might be affected.
Repair is estimated at about nine hours.
The municipality apologised for any inconvenience it might cause.
