The communications department of the Lekwa Municipality issued a notice a few minutes ago about repairs on the burst pipe.
The municipality will continue work at the intersection of Paarl and Schwickard Streets on Sunday, 26 April.
Work could not be completed yesterday.
The municipality apologised for any inconvenience the situation might cause.
All wards in Standerton and Sakhile will be affected.
