Msukaligwa Municipality to implement ‘load reductions’

The Msukaligwa Local Municipality will implement rotational load reductions in Ermelo and Wesselton today 16 May.

The notice on their Facebook Page states that load reductions might be implemented from 5pm to 9.30pm:

  • Ermelo Ext. 32,33,34 and a portion of Netherland Park – from 5pm – 7pm
  • Ext 5 and parts of Wesselton7pm – 9pm

“The system is currently constrained and overloaded and technicians are monitoring the load,” the statement reads.

“We urge the community to cooperate in reducing the electricity consumption and demand by continuing to use electricity sparingly.”
