Water supply interruption in several wards in Standerton
Water delivery depends on demand as well as the time needed for filling-up of tankers.
The communications department of the Lekwa Municipality issued a notice about electrical and mechanical problems at the Water Treatment Plant.
Water supply to Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 15 will be affected.
The repair time is estimated at 24 hours.
Water tankers will be dispatched. The first tanker will deliver water to Phalama Section in Ward 5.
The second tanker will deliver water to Shivovo in Hlongwane Drive in Ward 3. The third tanker will be in Palmer Street and Cement in Ward 6.
The fourth tanker will deliver water to Loss Section and Ext 2. The fifth tanker will be in Tsotetsi Street in Ward 1, BJ Homes and Mqashi.
The municipality apologised for any inconvenience the interruption might cause.
