BETHAL – Residents of Bethal and eMzinoni will be without electricity until 6pm today, 24 June.
Govan Mbeki Municipality sent out a warning on social media this morning that there will be a total shutdown of power supply to these areas, because of a switchgear failure at the main sub-station.
Residents and businesses have been asked to switch off all electrical appliances and to treat all power supply points as live.
The GMM management apologised for the inconvenience this action might cause.
Some Residents and businesses in Bethal and eMzinoni have already been affected since yesterday.
