Bethal can expect planned water supply shutdown

Most areas will be affected with water supply when water from reservoirs gets finished and during filling up of the reservoirs afters shutdown.

The Govan Mbeki Municipality would like to notify residents and businesses in Bethal of a planned water supply shutdown from 8am to 9pm on Tuesday, 14 July.

This will be for replacement and repair of the pipe line at Trichardt booster pump station.

Bethal will be supplied with water from internal reservoirs during the shutdown.

Most areas will be affected with water supply when water from reservoirs gets finished and during filling up of the reservoirs afters shutdown.

Residents are urged to store water for use during this period.

Only Bethal will be affected and not other towns within the Govan Mbeki municipal area.
