Clinic in Sakhile can’t help patients during power outage

The clinic has a generator, but it was not working.

A resident, who went to a clinic in Sakhile on Friday, 17 July was turned away.

According to him, the staff said they won’t be able to dispense his medication due to the load shedding.

He alleged that the clinic has a generator, but it was not working.

The Standerton Advertiser sent a message to the communications manager of the Lekwa Municipality, Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, on Monday to enquire about the situation and is awaiting comment.
