Lekwa Ratepayers Association indicated that Eskom has appealed against the court decision
The appeal is likely to be heard this week.
The association said an extra R200 000 is needed to proceed and see this case through to lift the notified maximum demand (NMD).
According to their Facebook-post, a final answer has to be given on Wednesday, 9 September whether they will be proceeding or not.
“This is a call to action for everybody who is willing to help us across the line and get this done,” they said.
