Following a community meeting at the Sakhile Stadium this afternoon, Mr Louis Thabethe, organiser of the previous peaceful protest, confirmed a shutdown on 14 and 15 September.
According to him, no march, burning or looting of public property will take place.
The reason for the shutdown is service delivery issues.
A memorandum was also handed over during a peaceful protest on 17 August.
“Our people are not tourists in a zoo who must pose for photographs when ministers pass by,” he said.
No public transport furthermore will be available.
Businesses were requested to sacrifice the two days before Standerton becomes a complete ghost town.
