Drain water puddles up in resident’s yard in Cassim Park

“The workers attended to the problem but drain water fills up the toilets every time they flush.”

Drain water puddled up in a resident’s yard in Cassim Park for almost two weeks.

According to a resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, her yard filled up with drain water after a drain blockage.

The water spread to her neighbour’s yard and leaked alongside Lakhoo Street in Ermelo.

She explained the numerous reports she made to the municipality.

“Municipal workers came on 29 September, however, because they did not have gumboots with them, they said they would return the following day.
