SECUNDA – Govan Mbeki municipal workers began filling up potholes during the course of last week.
Municipal workers were hard at work in Helen Joseph Street near Albany in Secunda as well as Ward 25.
Ms Ciska Jordaan from the DA and councillor for Ward 25 requested bags of asphalt from GMM for repairs in Trichardt. Several local businesses and community members have already embarked on this project.
“I will continue driving the issue of roads in Trichardt as I do believe it is the duty of the municipality to maintain and repair roads.
“I am truly grateful to the wonderful community in my ward for their ever-willingness to address issues,” said Ms Jordaan.
