ACSU recovers power cables in Ermelo

ACSU recovered stolen electricity cables in Taute Street, Ermelo, on 2 December.

According to Mr Theo Craven, control room operator for ACSU and district manager for SACCW Gert Sibande Region, one of their guards caught a man who was climbing up a pole and allegedly stealing cables.

Mr Craven, said: “The reaction team arrived and the suspect dropped the cables and his tools.”

ACSU is waiting for Msukaligwa Municipality to collect their cables.

The Highvelder sent media enquiries to Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesman of Msukaligwa Municipality, however, awaits a response.
