Carolina Police investigates New Year‘s murder

Sgt Thabang Mokwana, spokesman of Carolina Police, said: “On arrival they found the body of Mr Mnisi with visible injuries.” 

Carolina Police are investigating the murder of 22-year-old Mr Siyabonga Mnisi. 

Police were called to Carolina Hospital on 1 January at about 3am. 

Sgt Thabang Mokwana, spokesman of Carolina Police, said: “On arrival they found the body of Mr Mnisi with visible injuries.” 

According to police, the victim was brought to the hospital by his friend with multiple injuries to his head and body.

The victim died on arrival.

It is alleged that at about 2am on 1 January the victim and his friends were having drinks at a house at the Crossroads Section in Silobela where he was attacked by three men with pangas and a knife.
