Carolina Police arrested three men, Sicelo Mahlangu (19), Senzo Ndlovu (19) and Senzo Given Nkosi (22) from Silobela on Christmas day for the murder of Mr Bongani Mahlangu (42) in Carolina.

Sgt Thabang Mokwana, spokesman for Carolina Police, said: “According to the information at hand, on Christmas day, 25 December at about 12.30am the three suspect were found at Mr Mahlangu’s brother’s house in Nogiya Section, sitting with his brother’s daughter.

“When his brother tried to reprimand and question them for visiting his house in his absence, the suspects got aggressive and fought with the now deceased Mr Mahlangu and his brother.”
