Some residents queued and some also slept outside the offices the night before to ensure they would be helped the next morning.

He said it seems that there is a problem at the offices every Wednesday.

“The community was upset because employees said they will only be able to help 40 people for the day,” Mr Sebia added.

According to him, the office’s doors closed around 12pm.

The public bathroom at the traffic and licensing offices in Ermelo is disgustingly filthy.

Const Nomcebo Msezane, spokesman of Ermelo Police, said police were at the scene to monitor the situation.

Among poor service delivery, the public bathroom at the offices is revolting.

The bathroom is filled with plastic, glass bottles and containers while the toilet is filled with feces.

Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesman of Msukaligwa Municipality, said the office hours are 7.30am to 3pm from Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1pm on Friday.
