Standerton Police to send human remains for forensic investigation

A pair of boots was also found at the scene.

Human remains were found at Elmtree, a railway line near Standerton, today, 1 April.

Mr Jandré Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services received an anonymous tip-off and then found the skeletal remains at about noon.

He alerted the Standerton Police.

He said several hours later the bones were collected and will be taken to the pathology unit of Standerton Hospital for forensic investigation.

“A pair of boots was also found at the scene,” he added.
