Robbers in Standerton focus on jewellery, cash and cell phones

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) indicated on Saturday, 27 March that a guesthouse in Caledon Street fell prey to two burglars.

According to KSS, the occupants were tied and the loot included cash, jewellery and cell phones.

The suspects were wearing gloves and masks and a knife was used.

Minor injuries were reported and emergency services were contacted.

The get-away vehicle was white.

In an incident two days later in Colling Street, Stanwest, three robbers fled in a silver Polo.

According to KSS, jewellery and cash were stolen.

No injuries were reported.
