Laptops and cell phones sought-after theft items in Standerton

Tools used to commit burglary was found on the man.

The Easter weekend and its aftermath were marred by crime incidents.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) reported on cases of theft in Meyerville and Florapark.

In Meyerville, a flat behind a house in Brits Street was broken into on Friday, 2 April.

According to KSS, a laptop, cell phones and personal documents were stolen.

Steyn Street fell victim to intruders on Wednesday, 7 April.

KSS indicated that televisions and a laptop were stolen.

One suspect was apprehended in Jacaranda Crescent in Florapark on Tuesday, 6 April.

Tools used to commit burglary were found on the man.

A resident in Strydom Street in Meyerville called KSS on Thursday, 8 April and reported a burglary.

According to information, he woke up after hearing his dogs bark.

The suspects broke the burglar bars at the kitchen window and gained entry.

He found his wallet outside on the lawn, the cash has been stolen, but the cards were left. At this stage, a laptop is reported as missing.
