Four suspects flee after armed robbery at Oak Centre

“They demanded the keys for the cupboard where the cell phones were kept and asked three of the staff members to pack the phones and clothes in a bag,” Ms Venter said.

Four suspects fled the scene after an armed robbery at one of the businesses at the Oak Centre on 5 May.

According to Ms Magda Venter, Oak Centre manager, the suspects entered the store under the guise of being customers. 

“They demanded the keys for the cupboard where the cell phones were kept and asked three of the staff members to pack the phones and clothes in a bag,” Ms Venter said.

The Highvelder sent media enquiries to Const Nomcebo Msezane, spokesman of Ermelo Police and awaits response.
