Man killed in shooting incident in Carolina

“They were shown the body of the deceased - who had two gunshot wounds, one to the head and one to the chest,” Sgt Mokwana said.

Mr Sizile Lesson Sibande (28) was shot during a shooting in Carolina on 23 May.
 
Sgt Thabang Mokwana, spokesman of Carolina Police, said the police were dispatched to the scene and on arrival, were informed that one person was transported to Carolina Hospital with gunshot wounds.
 
The police then went to the hospital where they were informed the person died.
 
“They were shown the body of the deceased – who had two gunshot wounds, one to the head and one to the chest,” Sgt Mokwana said.
 
The police request those with information relating to this incident, to contact Sgt Sipho Mlangeni, investigation officer at 017 843 2108.
