VIDEO – Robbers threaten and loot women of belongings in Ermelo

Two women were robbed in the parking area of a local business in Ermelo on 26 May.

CCTV footage obtained by the Highvelder Newspaper, reveals one of the victims busy in the back seat of her vehicle when two unknown men approached the vehicle and one of them confronts her.

Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman of Ermelo Police Station, said the man threatened her with a weapon.

He demanded money and also stole her handbag, laptop, and cell phones.

The video also shows a supsected getaway vehicle waiting for them close by.
