Msukaligwa Municipality suspends all contact sport at municipal facilities

According to Mr Sibusiso Malaza, acting municipal manager of Msukaligwa Municipality, due to the growing number of Covid-19 cases, the outbreak response team and local command council advised the municipality to immediately suspend all contact sports.

According to Mr Sibusiso Malaza, acting municipal manager of Msukaligwa Municipality, due to the growing number of Covid-19 cases, the outbreak response team and local command council advised the municipality to immediately suspend all contact sports.

“Non-contact sport training can continue provided that all Covid-19 restrictions are followed,” he said.

This includes social distancing, sanitation and no physical contact between participants during training.

Residents who have made payments to reserve and book municipal facilities, can visit the municipal offices for refunding or they can contact Ms P Nkosi at  017 801 3565.
