The municipal manager of the Lekwa Municipality, Ms Gugulethu Mhlongo-Ntshangase, resigned.
She was appointed at Lekwa with effect from August 11, 2017.
According to the communications department of the municipality, Ms Mhlongo-Ntshangase served for three years and 10 months at the time of her resignation.
The newly appointed administrator, Mr Johann Mettler, received her resignation letter on June 14.
Her last working day was June 18.
The municipality thanked Ms Mhlongo-Ntshangase for her role during her tenure as municipal manager and wished her well in her future endeavours.
