Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison issued a statement on June 21, as regards a collision on the N11 in which three people died.
A truck and a sedan collided between Volksrust and Amersfoort the evening around 20:00.
The deceased were all occupants in the sedan and they include the driver and two passengers.
According to the department, the cause of the collision is still being investigated by their safety engineering unit and police.
The Standerton Advertiser made enquiries last Tuesday on the names of the deceased and awaits feedback.
