Three suspects entered a cellular store at about 14:00 demanding access to the store’s safe on July 13.
According to Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman for Ermelo Police, one of the employees was ordered to stay in the front of the shop, while the other staff member was forced to open the safe.
“The staff member managed to alert their head office, who in turn reported the incident to Acsu,” Capt Prinsloo said.
One of the suspects was arrested, and two fled the scene.
The cell phones and money was recovered.
A cellular store in Ermelo was robbed on July 13.
According to witnesses, the police allegedly caught one suspect.
