Secunda CPF arrests robbers

Romans arrested one suspect and Mr Horn and his son chased the other three into the field near Evander.

Mr Jaco Horn, chairman of the Secunda community policing forum (CPF) received a call on Zello this morning to help after a robbery at the ATM at the Sasol Filling Station this morning.

The vehicle was spotted leaving Secunda on the Evander road by Mr Jaco Horn junior of JTR.

He and his father, and Roman Tactical Response team followed the vehicle with four suspects and a high speed chase began in Bram Fischer Street in Evander.

The suspects then allegedly lost control of the vehicle and jumped out of the vehicle. Romans arrested one suspect and Mr Horn and his son chased the other three into the field near Evander.

Stratcon and others role players joined the search and the other three suspects were also apprehended.
