Man found hanging from tree in Carolina

“Upon arrival, the police found a man aged between 45 and 48 hanging from the tree by a rope tied around his neck, without any other visible injuries,” Sgt Mokwana said.

CAROLINA – The police are investigating an inquest of a man that was found hanging from a tree on July 28.

According to Sgt Thabang Mokwana, the spokesman for the Carolina police, a passer-by was taking a shortcut between the eucalyptus tree bush between Caropark and Sobhuza Primary School at 09:00, saw the body and alerted the police.

“Upon arrival, the police found a man aged between 45 and 48 hanging from the tree by a rope tied around his neck, without any other visible injuries,” Sgt Mokwana said.

He said all role players were summoned to the scene, and the male was certified dead by the Emergency Services Personnel.
