Breyten residents fed up with electricity and water woes

She said when the electricity comes on there is no water and when there is no electricity then there is water.

BREYTEN – Residents of Breyten have been left without water and electricity in some areas for a few months.

According to a resident who wishes to remain anonymous and stays in ward 13 in Breyten, the electricity outages take place from 9:00-13:00 and then from 17:00-21:00 daily.

She said when the electricity comes on there is no water and when there is no electricity then there is water.

“I am struggling to keep up with my job due to the ongoing power outages.

“The electrical appliances in my house are also damaged.

“I am fed up,” she said.
