ERMELO – Power outages experienced in portions of Ermelo are said to be due to overloading on August 11.
According to Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesman for Msukaligwa Local Municipality, due to high load demand the following streets are affected by overload:
• Naude Street
• Sluiter Street
• Pet Street
• Taute Street
• Kerk Street
“As a result, a section of Jan van Rebeeck Street and Taute Street will be off until the load is stable again,” he said.
He concluded time of restoration is not yet known.
