Chrissiesmeer police nabs two men during stop-and-search-operation

The police found dagga weighing 6.5kg in Mr Mfanasibili Dlamini’s possession and 5.7kg in Mr Mxolisi Mazibuko’s possession.

CHRISSIESMEER – Chrissiesmeer police arrested two men for possession of dagga during a stop-and-search operation on September 24.

According to Const Patience Ngozo, spokesman for Chrissiesmeer police, both vehicles were stopped at the N17 road near Chrissiesmeer.
 
The first suspect Mr Mfanasibili Dlamini (38) were found with dagga weighing 6.5kg in his possession.
 
“The dagga has a value of R7500,” said Const Ngozo.
 
He appeared in Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on September 27, and bail was denied.
 
The case was postponed to October 4.

Less than an hour later, the second suspect, Mr Mxolisi Mazibuko’s (36) vehicle was stopped and searched.
 
The police found the dagga of about 5.7kg with the value of R7000.
 
He also appeared in Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on September 27.
 
Mr Mazibuko’s bail application was denied, and the case was postponed to October 4.
