Robbery effectively thwarted at Standerton

KSS indicated that a Suzuki had already been loaded with alleged stolen alcohol.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) sent information on Monday, February 28 about a burglary at a store room in Princess Street.

According to KSS, a security officer on patrol noticed vehicles and people next to FNB.

Standerton Police were on the scene as well, watching the burglary taking place.

KSS indicated that a Suzuki had already been loaded with alleged stolen alcohol.

The driver was apprehended.

Suspects of which the number is unknown, were in another vehicle, also loaded with alcohol.

They managed to escape and according to information, the vehicle was last seen heading into Sakhile.

Standerton Police booked the Suzuki, as well as the driver, and confiscated the alcohol.
