Alleged sex pest teacher must again appear in Secunda court in April

The teacher was arrested on May 22, 2021, after the learners had come forward with the allegations.

The teacher being accused of sexual assault, self sexual assault and compelled sexual assault on learners under the age of 18 years, appeared in the Secunda Regional Court on Friday, March 18.

The matter was postponed to Friday, April 8.

He is currently facing 18 charges.

The teacher was released on R20 000 bail on June 1, 2021, on the condition that he does not have any contact with persons under the age of 18 years or any of the victims.

He is also not allowed to use any social media platforms.
